Christmas time brings memories of uplifting music wafting through the house.
Once Thanksgiving is over and the family has settled down, our thoughts quickly turn to the next “big” occasion. We’ve enjoyed each other’s company wholeheartedly and look forward to the next occasion with delight. That next occasion is the Big One!
Christmas!

Angels Sing at Christmastime
Preparations are already underway, plans are hatched. Everyone has their “to-do” list in hand. Now it’s just waiting until December rolls around.
Before Christmas is upon us, there will be music and laughter to fill the air.
At my house, there is music to fill the air almost daily, but Christmas just would not be Christmas without some wonderful music. Old classics and new releases will be resounding in my hallways. It’s just not Christmas without music.
The old Classic Hymns will be played along with new releases that new artists have compiled for 2016. One thing is certain those songs will be played at my house too. I just heard the title track of the new Pentatonix CD. It’s listed above and I know that before the day is out, that will be our newest Christmas CD. Their music is just a little different, mostly acapella and their voices are incredible. There is beauty in the human voice and this group brings that beauty to its fullness. I dare say that once you have heard this group, you will be hooked. They spin the classic Christmas Carols without taking away from the original beauty of the songs.
I hope that you enjoy them as much as I do. When listening, their voices come together a little bit of heaven comes to my house. Old and new are melded together in a way that is truly enjoyable! The whole family will be singing and listening with joy filled hearts.
That’s Christmas to Me!

Merry Christmas Wishes

Love those adorable angels!! Oh yes, Christmas music!! Must have praise for Jesus ringing thru the air!

Me too and sometimes even when it’s not Christmas I will find myself humming a Christmas tune.
I have quite a collection of Christmas music. It can put you in such a good mood. My favorites are The Christmas Song and This Christmas. I have several renditions of both. I like your list as well. Thank you for sharing with the Blogging Grandmothers Link Party. I hope to see you there next week.
Clearissa, I try to find something new to add to my collection every year. This year it is the Pentatonix. I love their sound so clear and beautiful. I like both of your favorites, and I think mine are still wrapped up in the Old Hymns Silent Night, and It Came upon a Midnight Clear. Joy to the World and the like…… Looking forward to the next Grammy Blog Link Party.
The Little Drummer Boy is still my all time favorite Christmas Song. I still love to go caroling and enjoy listen to carolers. Thanks for joining Blogging Grandmothers Link Party.
Thanks for your visit Candy. I love Christmas music and sometimes play it even when it’s not Christmas. It is just so uplifting and sometimes I need that.
Love Christmas music! If I’m not listening to it on the radio or on a CD then I have it on the tv. Our cable tv has music channels. Seems the old traditional songs bring such peace to your soul. I think I’ve heard some songs of Pentatonix on Facebook. Will have to check them out to be sure. Thanks so much Olivia for joining in on our Blogging Grandmothers Link Party #2. We sure appreciate you partying with us! Looking forward to you joining us again next weekend!
Dear Grammy, from one Grammy to another, Christmas music for me just makes the season so special. I have been known to play them outside of the season too. Because they put me in a peaceful, loving, and caring mood. I love the Pentatonix, they are one of my favorite new artists. Such a beautiful sound comes from their music.
