Surprise Mom This Mother’s Day with Outstanding Gift Ideas

Everyone knows that once spring is around the corner, so is Mother’s Day!  This year there is time to find that outstanding gift that will just make her heart sing!

Mother’s Day for all of you who haven’t had the time to figure it out yet, is  Sunday May 13th this year!  Hopefully, wherever you live this day will be filled with some warmth and sunshine.  Most of all though, I hope the day finds you visiting or calling your mom, just to let her know you are thinking about her.

If you live far away, this call could be the one she is waiting for and hoping for.  There is nothing quite so special as hearing from your children on a day that is set aside to celebrate all the things that moms do for us.

No Expiration. Gift cards (while not my favorite gift) can be sent to Mom so that she has the ultimate choice in getting something that she will love.  I personally prefer to do some of the shopping for her.  With the variety of things available at Amazon, you can stay within a budget, or you can go to town with some really extravagant gifts.  The choice is yours entirely.  I love that you can buy books, clothing, accessories and electronics quickly and have them delivered to Mom’s doorstep!  Here are just a few ideas to help you along:

 

This is just a starting point for you! If you know she loves to knit or crochet, there are books and patterns and yarn available. How about needlepoint or some other type of “hand work”. Maybe, just maybe mom likes getting her hands dirty with a hobby, like making pottery, fixing cars, or designing something wonderful from “junk”. Spend some time exploring Amazon and you will find something that your mom will love!

Mom is a Book Worm!

Well I know that I can relate to that!  I love to read and I love all kinds of books too!  One thing I don’t like is having a million books lying around.  So if your mother is anything like me, then a great idea is to get her a Kindle Unlimited Membership Plans! With this membership she is only a few clicks away from another great story. She might even like it so much that she will start a book club or monthly reading and discussion club. She might even start that with you! What a great way to enjoy books together, even though there may be thousands of miles between you! What a lovely way to share thoughts and ideas with your mom.
