Water and kids just seem to go together and holidays are some of the best times to make memories. Just imagine how much fun your family will have while playing in the pool on those hot summer days.
You won’t have to worry about getting the kids to do their chores, if a nice soak in the pool is the reward. They will be more than happy to help around the house, just knowing that a fun time can be had when all the work is done. Even mom and dad will look forward to coming home from work to spend some quality “down time” in the families best ever gathering place. Refresh, relax and enjoy the sun, the water and play time and when everyone is finished some nice BBQ will be the order of the day.
Not only will the family enjoy time together, they will also become stronger in their swimming abilities with the pool available to them at anytime. Who knows, maybe your son or daughter will be the next great Olympian in some water sport and it all started with a backyard pool.

Family get-togethers will be centered at your house. Everyone in the pool for some fun, along with cousins, aunts and uncles. You can also get to know all the kids that your children call friends, because they will come to your house. That is a good thing for sure. Your family will be healthier, relaxed and comfortable all summer long regardless of how hot it becomes.
Pool parties are just so much fun. With pool toys and games you will be spending so much time in the water that you will wonder what you did before you had a pool in the yard!

I grew up with a built in swimming pool so it seemed only natural to invest in a pool for our children. Many parties, lots of good times and fellowships took place in or around those pools. They really were a lot of fun. Even though we had our pool removed several years ago (since our children are grown) we still have lots of photos and fond memories of our swimming pool.
I’m so happy that you had great memories of your pool. I know we always have fun when the family is together around the pool.
We used to have so much fun in our pool when I was a girl! We have never had the space for a pool, but I hope one day we will.
Something to look forward to. When you have the space, it will be the right time for a pool.
I don’t like the water much myself, but my kids sure loved it and spent time in my mom’s pool whenever we visited. It sure solves the problem of keeping kids entertained in the summer.
Barbara not everyone is a water baby, but the kids when they feel safe in the water, will surely enjoy splashing around.
This looks like so much fun! Now that we’re going to be grandparents, I’m thinking into the future and wondering if we might get another pool. We had a nice-sized one years ago when our boys were younger, but it became too much work and we lost interest. Maybe a year or two down the road we’ll re-visit the possibility.
Yes Susan, I am a full believer in water babies….My three kids were all certified Lifeguards, swam on the school teams and they loved every minute of it. Congraulations on becoming grandparents, I will keep your future little one in my prayers until his or her safe arrival. Thanks for your comments.
