Halloween is the time of year when everyone can get into the action and let themselves be young again.
That last day in October is one that is looked forward to by kids and grown ups alike. What other day of the year can you pretend to be whatever you want to be? And get away with it!
Never mind trying to get away with it, on Halloween we are encouraged to participate and age has NOTHING to do with it.

If I’m not dressing up for Halloween one year, I will take the time to prepare a frightful (but fun) experience for my neighborhood kids.
After all, its only one day in the year and if you miss it, you have to wait another whole year to have some spooky and silly (sometimes) fun.

My grown up ‘kids’ either host a Halloween party or attend one. They all love Halloween and planning out their costumes. My DIL has boxes and boxes of Halloween decorations and they have won local ‘yard decor’ contests many Halloweens!
Oh Miss Elf, that is so much fun…we have neighbors that go all out too and they have already started getting their yard ready. Fog pots, flying witches, coffins with skeletons, nothing is too “scary” for them and on Halloween night, there are creaks and groans all coming from their house….it’s wonderful. Hope they will win again this year…post a picture. I would love to see it.
My inner child loves Halloween too! I enjoy the costumes, the decor, the parties and watching the little goblins race from door to door for their treats.

I love Halloween it is one of my favorite holidays to celebrate. All I do is hand out candy to the visitors.
With a little planning you could be scaring the little ones who come for the goodies….One year all I did was play haunting music and sound effects. I could hear the little ones on my steps calling for mom to come and knock on the door with them. I laughed so hard…..it was fun.
I have to get that orange trick or treat bowl with the hand. I will have some fun with that this Halloween 2016.
