Gifts for Guys!

Guys can be the hardest group of people to find gifts for especially when they are not into clothes and stuff that women love to buy!

So what’s a gal supposed to do?  Well I found a  great bunch of gifts that would suit almost any guy over the age of 14!

The best part of this line of gifts is that you can start with a very basic model and work your way up to something more “involved” or complicated.

What am I talking about?  Drums!  Drums and more drums!

I don’t know a man who doesn’t like to tap out a beat at the local watering hole, when a good bank is playing.  They are all on the table with their fingers, used as drumsticks, tapping out the musical beats right along with the drummer on stage.

If this sums up your guy, then surprise him this holiday season with a set of digital drums, so that he can perfect his playing skills, and have some fun at the same time.

If your fellow doesn’t really drum too much, but would like to get started, then start with a simple set. Once he finds his inner “Ringo” Starr, then he can always move up to something a little more “advanced”.

They beauty of these sets is that being electronic, most come with a headphone jack that lets them listen to themselves and not turn the whole house into a drummer’s dream or nightmare. They can listen to themselves and you don’t go crazy with the added noise. Right now I am listening to my guy playing his drums and all I am really hearing is the patting of the pads. I can handle that.

What I really like is that even though I don’t get the full “blast” of the drums, I can hear that he is getting better and better at it. When I mention it, he just has a big smile on his face, and I know that he is enjoying his new toy!

He can record himself too, or he can play music in the background and drum right along with it.

I love that he is having the greatest time with this drum set, and I love that I don’t need to listen to it if I choose not to! It is a WIN-WIN situation.
