Our first impressions are often based on what we see. I’ve always thought that what a child wears is a reflection of their parents. Everyone should try to dress as nice as possible, whether a child or adult.
Yes Mary, it is a reflection of what is happening at home. Sometimes that can be something less than perfect. But that first impression on day one sort of lingers until the child has a chance to prove himself. It’s sad that it has to be that way, but it still is.
