The Best Backyard Chair for Dad has to be this “Zero Gravity Chair!”
This chair is one of the most used items in our backyard. My husband got his chair a couple of years ago. Today, we have two and they still look brand new. They are as comfortable today as the first day he got his.
I know that there are many different styles of chairs available for backyards, but this one has stood up and stood out. Every Sunday afternoon, after brunch, you can find this DAD resting up in his chair. Now, he liked his so much that two weeks after he got his from the kids, he bought me my own (my birthday just happens to fall two weeks after Father’s Day). We have a matching pair of chairs. I think he was tired of me stealing a nap in HIS chair.

Dad’s Most Comfortable Zero Gravity Chair
While this is meant to be an outdoor chair, my husband likes it so much that he bought himself a second one and put it into the Man Cave. He likes to watch his sports in a semi-prone position and this chair just does that so beautifully. Bonus for us is that we can take his “indoor, outdoor chair” back outdoors if company drops by. Inevitably, they will leave our home telling us that they are going to order a couple of these chairs for their own home or cottage.

The Zero Gravity Chair is wonderful, comfortable and affordable. So much more comfortable than many other types of outdoor furniture and it lasts and lasts. So affordable, that maybe you should think of getting Dad two of them, so that he can share his outdoor space with you or your Mom.
I like this Chair so much better than a lounger, or a deck chair. This chair can be used both ways and it really is the most comfortable chair I have ever had. It’s small enough to store easily, or take with you on camping trips or backyard parties and big enough to fit a man who is 6 ft 5 inches tall.
He loves it because it has the ability to make him comfortable without any back pain and for a tall guy, with back issues, that is saying a lot.
We have zero gravity mechanical beds now, so I can imagine these chairs would also be very comfortable. I’d just have to clean up the back yard first so we’d have somewhere to put them. I wish our only shade tree in back weren’t in the rose garden. I wish my mom had never had that tree put in.
Oh! I tried one of these chairs out a few years ago. It was SO comfortable! I didn’t want to get up. I stayed in it a long time and my companion had to practically drag me out of it, because I didn’t want to leave. I completely understand why your hubby loves this chair.
That is the only problem with this chair….once you are in it, you don’t want to get out of it. I like that when you finally decide to get out, it’s easy. Some of these chairs are a pain in the neck to crawl out of….NOT this one. Just move it to upright and step out. Easy peasy. Thanks for your comments. I hope you have one for yourself by now!

Dawn, you won’t regret this purchase at all. There are many nights when I go into the Man Cave to see if my other half is still watching something or to see if he has fallen asleep. This review is true to every last word. It is an incredibly comfortable chair and it won’t break the bank!

Well, that’s a testimonial if I ever heard one! I love that the chair is nice enough to use indoors, too. My husband doesn’t relax nearly as much as he should. This would be perfect to add to our backyard so he can enjoy it after he’s spend so much time running the lawnmower over it! Thanks for the suggestion, Olivia!
He deserves it. Make sure you get one for yourself too. I don’t want to see a happy marriage end in scraping over the chair that just feels like a bit of heaven.
Comfy chairs and a perfect way for Dads to relax!
It really is. We have three of them now. One for hubby in his Man Cave, one for him in the yard and one for me in the yard. When company comes over, we bring the one from his Cave out….he makes sure it goes back into the cave once the company has left. That’s how much he loves this chair.
It sounds like the perfect chair, and Father’s Day gift! I really is a great recommendation when you say that you purchased one to use inside your home too. Watching a sports game usually takes a few hours, so it really must be great if he can sit in it and be comfortable for hours at a time.
It really truly is that comfortable. He will sit in his chair, I get the couch! He would not trade for any money in the world. He has lower back troubles and this chair lets him sit/lounge without any discomfort at all.
