Christmas can be enhanced with the addition of a Beautiful Nativity Set.
Nativity Sets help to bring the meaning of Christmas to life in your home. Many different sets are available and all of them are beautiful, endearing and set the focus for the Holiday Season.
Different Styles of Nativity Scenes
If you look at the sets I have hightlighted for you, you will see that there are many different styles available. One will fit with your choice of decor.
Willow Tree Figures
Willow figures are highly collectible and lovely. This six piece set is very simple in it’s rendering. Mary holds the baby Jesus. Joseph with his staff is the tallest figure at about 7 inches tall. There are two shepherds with sheep and a few extra sheep and the much loved donkey. Easy to care for and strong enough to be handled by little hands, this set is outstanding in it’s beauty.
Modern Stylistic
The second set is a little more artistic in nature and really makes a beautiful display for a front window or a side table. This set Figures are shilloutted by LED’s, that give this set a nice glow. Battery operated so that you don’t have to worry about open flames, this set is lovely. Easy to set up and totally in the Spirit of Christmas with the Holy Family and the 3 Wise Men. You will need Double A batteries for this set.
Traditional Nativity Set
The Third Set is made of resin and includes several figures that can be arranged as you would like. Figures include Mary, Joseph and Baby Jesus, 3 Wise Men and a Shepherd boy. The resin figures are enhanced with burlap accents. This set is very traditional in its style. Figures are individual so that you can move them around as you like. You may just have the 3 Nativity figures till after Christmas and then add the Wise Men later. It is completely up to you.
Child Friendly Nativity Set
This last set that I have showcased for you is made a little more modern. Figures are not life-like, rather they will be loved by little people. The set has 11 separate pieces that children can arrange within the Creche or even outside of the creche’s boundaries. Mary Joseph, the baby Jesus, 3 Wise Men and 2 angels along with some animals fill out this set. Figures are only an inch or so tall, so little hands will love playing with this set. Small children should be watched carefully as some pieces are small enough to choke on. Having said that, I love the pudgy little figures and can see children spending a lot of time holding onto their favorite figure.
A Child’s Nativity Set
There is one more Nativity Set that I would love to share with you! This set is truly made for little hands and will fill them with hours of fun. Fisher-Price makes this set, so you know that the children will enjoy having their very own Nativity Set. This is one that they can play with and not worry about breaking. Little ones will enjoy replaying the story of Jesus and how he came to be in a stable. This set has everything a child needs to make this story their own.
Nativity sets are a wonderful way for parents and grandparents to teach their children about the true meaning of the spirit of Christmas. Children learn using all of their senses and these Christmas Creches will engage them in more ways than one.
Make Christmas Nativity Sets part of your whole Decorating scheme for the Holidays.

The Nativity scene is an absolute must in our home for Christmas! It is easy to forget the real meaning of Christmas with so much activity and distractions.

So true, our Christmas display has the Nativity set as the focal point, with a smaller Christmas tree to the side. We light it up for everyone to see. Christmas just isn`t Christmas without at least one Nativity set in our home.

These are lovely Nativity Sets. I have a friend who has one in every room each Christmas and each one is different. It’s amazing to walk through her house and view these, along with her other holiday decorations.

Oh Miss Elf, I love that! I have many different nativity sets too. Like your friend I find a place for them in almost every room. Christmas is celebrated all through my house and I love it.

I love the idea of having a child-friendly nativity set that the kiddos can hold (with reverence) and use to learn to tell the story of Jesus’ birth. Nativities and the Christmas story should play a big role in any Christian home. Even during the years that we barely decorate for Christmas, it’s the nativity set that we pull out first.

Susan, isn’t it funny how when we had nothing or little, the important things were at the center. Today because our family doesn’t come to us, we go to them, our decorating for Christmas is again focused on the Nativity. We have a lovely set and I love putting it on display in my front window. There is a small tree in the corner, but our focus is on the Nativity set.
